Hi, I’m Lizzie. I graduated in 2023 from Harper Adams University in the U.K. with an Honours degree in Veterinary Physiotherapy. In 2021 I completed a six-month placement here at ARK, and I loved it so much that after returning to England to complete my fourth year of study, I came back home to Sydney to work with ARK in the field of animal rehabilitation.
I work primarily with companion animals and wrote my Honours Dissertation on the effects of hydrotherapy on dogs with Intervertebral Disc Disease, but I also work with horses and farm animals.
When I’m not at the Animal Rehab Klinik, you might find me on the road doing home rehabilitation visits in the Eastern Suburbs of Sydney, or out on a farm treating horses.
Animals have been my passion since I was a kid, I am an avid horse rider, and you’ll usually find me walking my (very spoilt) miniature dachshund who was the partial inspiration for my career path and my (also spoilt) rescue staghound mix.
