Hi, my name is Makayla and I am currently working as a receptionist at ARK. I first started with ARK as a placement student and never left! I have graduated with a Bachelors of Science/Bachelors of Advanced Studies (Animal and Veterinary Bioscience) with First Class Honours in Phage Therapy research. I have always had a big passion for animals and I hope to continue my studies in the Doctor of Veterinary Medicine to one day become a Vet to continue to provide wonderful care for all animals, with particular interest in animal rehabilitation! 

I am a proud pet mum of my budgie Ivy, galah Ava, lorikeets (Lorrie, Lauretta, Luca and Luna), many cockatiels and two rabbits, Frankie and Leo.
